CAT TERREBONNE- Educational Tour Department Director & Educational Department Manager.
In 1978, Cat Terrebonne, known to her students as "Miss Cat", first traveled to Washington DC on a 7th grade field trip.  The trip was planned and escorted by Mr. Robbie Bush, owner of Associated Travel, Mr. Rick Latiolais & Mr. Keith Patin, both Lafayette Elementary History Teachers.  Miss Cat’s  memories of the trip were the plane ride, the hotel room with her friends at night & the long walk at Arlington Cemetery.  She came across Mr. Bush some 25 years later when he was the drummer in a few bands she had joined, “Bingo Johnny” & “The Hubcats”.  Mr. Bush was so impressed with her organizational & communication skills as well as excessive energy, that he offered her a job as the Educational Tour Director at Associated Travel in 1998 and she has been introducing Middle School students to our Nation’s Capital ever since.

This has been an inspiring adventure and the perfect job for me.  I really wanted to be a math teacher, but I got a General Studies Degree at USL instead.   I really wasn’t interested in History in college.  When Robbie trained me on that first trip in ’98,  I instantly fell in love with the history of our country and continue to be amazed with new information on each trip." - Cat

Miss Cat quickly became adept to the ever changing world of travel.  It’s a job in which she takes true pride and loves all of the students she meets. Miss Cat was a student at Our Lady of Fatima School and the first graduating class of St Thomas More in 1983.  She currently organizes, escorts & sponsors only one Senior Trip to the Bahamas each year.  Most of the Seniors that she takes also participated in their middle school trip to DC with her.
